Flashing caps enable a person to install flashings flat on the roofing metal without having to get up above the panel ribs. This is particularly helpful when flashing around small chimneys and skylights. The flashing is notched around the ribs and the cap is installed with a generous amount of sealant, sealing the rib without the headache or complications of traditional flashing strategies. They are stamped out of stainless steel. We powder coat them in common colors as well as a primed version that can be custom painted to match any roof color.
